Source Protection Plan Policy Updates
The Ontario Clean Water Act requires municipalities and stakeholders to work together to develop watershed-based Source Protection Plans. These plans focus on protecting the source water that supplies municipal drinking water systems.
The Raisin-South Nation Source Protection Committee (SPC) was tasked with writing the Source Protection Plan for the Raisin-South Nation Source Protection Region. Updates are made when new and potential threats to drinking water sources are identified.
