Mary Wooding Ministry of the Environment

Mary Wooding is the liaison between the Raisin-South Nation Source Protection Committee and the Ministry of the Environment. She is also the liaison for the Mississippi-Rideau Source Protection Committee and is the local source protection representative on the special project for transboundary issues with Quebec. Mary has extensive work experience within the ministry where she has worked in several different positions over the last 18 years. This included inspections of several of the municipal drinking water systems that the Raisin-South Nation Source Protection Committee is studying. Mary works out of the Kingston ministry office. Before moving to Kingston in 2005 Mary worked in Toronto as the Issues Coordinator in the Director’s Office of Safe Drinking Water Branch.
Mary’s true passion is the rejuvenation of a small farm and conversion of a post and beam barn into the house where she currently resides with her family in the countryside north east of Kingston.
